I just finished the 5th episode and I find the main character to be deeply flawed. She believes addiction is a disease and her daughter is a victim. Matlock believes she can be part of the system and change it from the inside, meanwhile, she seems to be getting her hands very dirty, becoming corrupt. She seems to believe lying is fine, as long as it suits her objective. I think her daughter had issues before she became an addict and was self-medicating. I wonder if having a manipulative mother was part of what made her turn to drugs. I kind of wish the character from Poker Face made an appearance on the show and put Matlock in her place.

I have been taking 60 mg. in the morning for 5 years. Lately I have been feeling anxious and depressed when I wake up, for no reason I am aware of except maybe the medicine is at a low level in my system and I need to wait for my morning pill to kick in. I ignore my unwanted thoughts and feelings and after an hour or two I snap out of it. I went to my doctor today and she suggested switching to 30 mg. twice a day. Has anyone switched like this with success? Is there a downside to this? I am going to try it, no matter what, once I use up my 60 mg. tablets. I am just curious what other people have to say.
