A Feathery Magnum Monday Anyone?

More and more my .357 Magnum LCRx becomes ever relevant. It has all but replaced my 3” GP100 as my mountain carry gun while out hiking and logging miles. It’s so unobtrusive and easy carrying. It’s five shots of medicine that I love carrying out in the Sierras! Ruger nailed the modern revolver IMO.

Decided to take a hike this rainy spring day and scout for bedded mule deer ahead of hunt season. Figured it was only appropriate to bust out the Gunsite Scout for the trek. Ended up soaked and water logged, but loved every moment of the day. Now for a detailed tear down to chase off the rust before it sets in! Love this handy rifle. Cheers!
