PT, pain advice

Hail my heroes !

Had my replacement monday been doing 1.5 hours per day pt. Only take one oxi 5mg per day before pt.

Last night was the worst night so far, probably cause the last of the nerve block is now gone. Today I can barely move my knee, took oxi and though still pain is gone, movement pain persists.

My real question :

Do you still force yourself the pt? ( bike, extension and bending ) on days like this, or do you take a day off ?

So darn nervous

Booked for a tkr Monday ( male 54 ) used to playing tennis, pickleball, snowboarding, biking, walking etc. Now I can walk a mile and not much more.

Dr ( does many of these per week at kaiser ) keeps saying this is gonna hurt, cant control or really know how all the soft tissue will reacts. And journvax is not something he heard of. And said you're gonna need these pain killers after blockers wear off.

Sry im rambling.

So nervous

Also I hear that the meniscus implant is plastic and will be the first to fail after 10-15 years. So now ill have plastic flowing in my knee-body ? What do they do then?
