I saw this post a while back because I was having the same issue where the eevee nickname trick wasn’t working even though I had not used it before. In this previous post’s comments they effectively said that it was a bug. Since I’m having that same issue I’m wondering if anyone has figured out a solution to this bug or if doing the hard labor (so to speak) evolution is the only way?
