Release date speculation

It's now October and the gametest is a sweet memory. Kind of nuts that they havent announced anything about a release date yet but it makes sense.

I still believe it's coming this year. The gametest which is an older build of the game was awesome.

Ocarina of Time is suspiciously releasing early November. If Zelda was the feature game this winter it would normally release closer to December and Christmas shopping season. A week or two before December.

Makes sense that The Duskbloods would release late November as it's enough time for people to buy Zelda and finish it.

It also gives them the time to polish the game up and have the Network kinks ironed out.

If it does come out this year I would expect a release date trailer or direct for The Duskbloods just after Zelda comes out.

Network test musings..

I'm wondering if we will select a player and just jump into the matches with the Roles already set randomly.

Or will they let us see the hub area, fire keeper and get to customize our own roles and accessories.

I'm also wondering how many playable characters will be available to play with, 8 or the rumored 14.

I hope the events are turned on, I have a feeling they will impact the game even more than Nightreign did.

Can't wait to see it running and how the gameplay feels.

From the snippets of game footage it looks to be around a bit better than Bloodbornes graphic level but with a higher resolution and larger game map. Handling 8 players. enemies and bosses at I'm hoping 40 or 60 fps will be pretty impressive for the Switch 2.

We're so close now, been dying to see more of The Duskbloods.

We know a bit about the game and I still can't picture the gameloop and moment to moment gameplay flow. I'm excited to see how it all plays out and kick some vampire ass.

So many surprises we don't know yet for sure.

Can't wait!

Time limit in matches and other stuff

Thinking about the upcoming Network test and the game.

What if the match time limit is the sun slowly coming up? Since they're vampires they need to leave the map before burning up.

What happens when you die? Will you be able to jump back in the map again? I'm thinking maybe when you die you lose Victory Points but can jump in again.

If you kill a player or enemy you get victory points, or when you fulfill a role/sidequest

Using side character partners is going to be interesting. Wonder if you have to buy a certain item to summon them. Imagine 8 players in a room with 8 partner npcs duking it out.

Seems like there will be more than one map. The Gothic one and a more modern one with a train. Also the Asian inspired waterfall .

The Gothic map looks pretty big, with interiors and underground areas. Enough room for 8 players to explore without running into each other too much.

Can't wait to see all the playable characters and their special move/transformations like the Dino man. Wonder what the Golden Mosquito has for a special.

The hype is definitely building. Hope I get to play in the Network Test.
