Hi! I've got a specific rules question.

If a brain ooze is maintaining a spell of dominate person (or more) at the time that it finishes consuming enough brains to divide, how is the maintained spell effected by that division?

1 entity exists and is concentrating on a dominate person
That entity divides and becomes 2 entities
Therefore, the options to me seem to be:

1. Does the "source" of the concentration spell copy and the target of the spell is now under the effects of 2 copies of that spell?
2. Does one brain retain the spell and the other have no involvement in it? Could it be either brain that is maintaining it, essentially throwing rolling a d2 to see which brain "sources" each spell?
   2b) Is it possible that one brain maintains it while the other brain has the knowledge of that spell?
3. Does the initial source of the spell no longer exist and therefore the spell fizzles?
