I personally hate hobie rudder system, I don’t know if everybody thinks the same or if it’s just a skill issue but I can’t bear having to pop the cames up while doing solo so I was wondering if i could buy a rudder system from another boat like a nacra f16, a SL16 or a Erplast XL and use it plug in play on my HC 16 ?
I need to fix something to my aluminium frontbar on my HC16 so my plan is to use some pops ( don’t know the name in english but the little metal things which do pop when you put them ) and some sika because in sika we trust, but I don’t know which one I should use. I am hesitating between 291, 591 or just some sika marine ( the yellow one )
Hello guys, I recently purchased a HC16 and saw that the cheapest mast step link I could find was around 40euro which I don’t want to spend on a piece of metal since i am kinda on a budget because of buying my boat ( I sail alone so I must use a mast step link ). Also, do you know if you can step the mast when you’re on the water alone ( by using the jib halyard) ?
