as a huge fan since P1, Pale White Dot is their best album to date

They just sound so free here. The vocal delivery, the writing, the drumming, ebb and flow.. All of it.

They've always been willing to break boundaries to tell a story, but this is something different.

You can feel the creative mindset shift with the dynamics
You can feel that this was such a FUN album to make. I think a lot of that has to do with the different approach they've mentioned in interviews or posts.

It feels so much more relaxed, less forced, and not just breaking boundaries, but breaking the whole box. There's STILL Periphery DNA, but they're exploring themselves as musicians and integrating other elements that have always been there in new ways.
I love all of their albums, but this is the first one to feel truly fresh since Juggernaut.

Top notch production, as per usual. these electronic elements always felt like "support" instead of the main driver of the verse or the backbone of a song, for example.

Simpler in some ways, but it lets the emotion shine when it needs to and crash back down into Oblivion.

It's such a cool and refreshing sound they've whipped up and I'm stoked to keep spinning it up.

They've found another dimension on this one bois
10/10
