While average New Yorkers, particularly students and seniors in the arts, are struggling, Film at Lincoln Center, as a nonprofit organization, continues to raise general ticket prices for both members and non-members . They have also taken advantage of the situation by significantly increasing prices for general tickets including moderated talks, such as the recent discussion featuring Tony Leung, which was reportedly sponsored by Criterion (JANUS) -

*While inflation is at an all-time high, people's hard-earned money is being misused Film at Lincoln Center, one latest example is sending multiple individuals than necessary to Cannes Film Festival, and hosting extravagant receptions worth thousands of dollars on Alcohol, plus Flight /Hotel expenses for people that don't belong/need to be at Cannes. Because it is a non-profit rather than a commercial entity, its funding goes toward arts advocacy, education, and community programming.
Members have a right to know where there hard earned money is being spent on / spent for
