One lesson learned about Structural Resonance dead spots

I was the one who had the recent post about a resonance induced dead spot on my G string at the 17th fret.

I put a wound G-string on my guitar and the sustain of the note greatly improved, but I also noticed as the string continue to ring out that the lower frequencies of the note dropped out and only the higher frequencies remained. Kind of a cool effect.

I suspect this probably occurs across the entire fret board on other notes as well, but it would be quite subtle and not really noticeable unless you were listening for it while the note was sustained.

Chalk it up to the character of a guitar, I guess.

Structural resonance dead spot on G-String high C note (17th fret)

All string notes resonate well except this one which lacks any sustain.

Anyone else experience this issue?

Frets are level. (I just leveled, crowned and polished). Thought it was an uneven fret issue.

New strings (10-46).

Pick up height not the villan.

Not a fan of adding head extra weight. Neck dive is already a thing.

Ideas?
