Google Fiber website is “down for maintenance”
I just tried to make a payment twice this week on the website and both times was hit with an error saying the payment could not be completed. I’ve been using this website to pay my bill for 6 years at this point.
After speaking with a chat representative the only resolution apparently available was to download the GFiber app…why does any customer have to download an app just to pay their bill? I’m not downloading yet another thing that takes up memory on my phone & I won’t have otherwise use for. The chat agent claimed that the engineers have not given an ETA on when the website will be back online to process payments again.
I escalated the call & at now waiting on a callback from a supervisor over this ridiculous complication over trying to pay my bill.
