First Time DMC player here, just looking for clarification from experienced players.
So general info, I have every game except the reboot. I have an idea of the story though not hugely, mostly who dante and vergil are, who their dad is and a vague general concept of the games.
Questions I have:
Is 3, 1, 2, 4, 5 the correct chronological way to play the games?
What is the difference between "gold" and "yellow" modes?
Does the old anime have anything to do with the games and if so where would it be placed (I'll try giving it a watch either way but if it happens between say dmc 3 and 1, i'll watch it before starting 1)
Is the reboot worth finding and playing even if its not part of the main DMC story?
What is your favourite thing about DMC? (Don't actually need to know this, but generally curious what got you all interested and/or hooked on the games)
Do you have any tips for anyone who hasn't played DMC before?
