New print head shrouds

Printed some new print head shrouds for the N4. Wanted it to be light and sturdy so I printed 3 in different materials. PETG, PA-6 CF and ABS-CF. All 3 are good to use for weight and heat, but I’m leaning toward the PETG CF. The texture and look of it came out very well. Now to mount the 3 Winsinn 5015 fans and make it cooler and a heck of a lot more quiet. No need for the big 3 fan behind the print head.
I also added Noctua 80mm fans for the board and PS. She’s gonna be quiet now.

Reliability

Just finished a flawless 12 hour print on my 4 Pro. For those fishing with their printer trying to get it to print correctly, it can happen and will happen. Just do the needed steps and have some patience. After some upgrades, tweaking and profanity my 4 Plus is just as if not more reliable as my Bambu A1. Ask the community for help and hang in there.

Very well done

After about a 1K Mile vacation from WA to Red Lodge MT, the Santa Fe checked a lot of boxes. I can’t say anything negative, it handled it all very well. Highway speeds 80-90+. Plenty of mountain roads. Montana heat 100 plus degrees. Kept the full load of adults comfortable and cool. All of the assistance systems work pretty well when you get used to them. And as far as the Matte Gray paint, it held up far better than I would have thought. The amount of bugs that were plastered on that car was insane. Spray, wait, rinse, done. No issues. This is my 3rd Hyundai after 2 Volvos and 2 BMW’s. I would put this up against them all when it comes to simply getting the job done comfortably and having fun doing it. Now, time for a deep detailing to bring back the beauty. Dr. Beasley products all day.

Finally

The 4 Pro works like a charm. Linear Rails on all Axes and OpenNeptu4ne. Z axis issues were a headache for a while but finally got it dialed in. Followed the advice of a lot of you here. Thanks and happy printing.

No Keys

Got to work this morning and noticed that my pockets were empty. Told my coworker that I left my keys at home. He asks, well how did you drive here?. At first I didn’t know. lol. Then I realized it was the digital key on my phone.
Wish the car would notify me somehow that the actual key is not in the vehicle and using an alternate key.
Other than that, kudos to Team Hyundai. #SantaFe

Ceramic Coating and Mud Flaps

One week in and I decided to do a Dr. Beasley coating. Was pretty easy in comparison to other Coatings I’ve used.
The Mud Flaps were pretty straight forward. Makes a difference though.
