Does anyone else get these symptoms?

I don't know if it's from anxiety or not, but whenever I get really bad flares my legs feel really weak as if they're falling asleep or I'm having a hypoglycemic episode. Actually, recently my legs just feel like they're trying to fall asleep but can't??? Does anyone else get that sensation?? Sometimes the sensation my legs get will last for hours.

I think I have PGAD but am scared of getting assessed. How were others assessed?

For background info I'm (AFAB) 16 and turn 17 later this month, I am not sexually active either. I first started getting these symptoms at 12. I am on SSRI's and after I abruptly went cold turkey on them these symptoms all came back severe after 4 years of not having any symptoms since I was 12.

I have the typical onset symptoms of PGAD; genital arousal that's unwanted, pain, and arousal episodes that last days, weeks, to almost a year with no stop. Not to mention the mental insanity that comes with it.

I've brought up this issue to my parents and I must wait until August to tell a doctor about it as me and my mother both agreed to wait until I'm put on insurance. However the more I look into the diagnostic tests and the process, I get really scared. From what I know, a lot of testing includes invasive imaging/feeling. I don't know if I'm scared of accidentally being aroused during any of it, I don't want to trigger a bad arousal episode! It would drive me into mental insanity and my anxiety is already at an all time high with the arousal episodes.

I know that arousal is a normal and very common occurrence in the clinical field when doing genital testing, but I still feel very ashamed and guilty. It's already a terrible feeling being aroused when other people are around and you can't get away to just breathe.

I'd really like to know what it was like for other people to get all the testing done, I think it'd relieve my anxiety and stop me from going into another arousal episode. And is there anything I should know before telling my GP?
