A tale of two bottles…
I’m a designer girlie through and through. Maybe a niche or dupe thrown in as well. But I kept seeing a couple Paris Corner scents mentioned - Eschal Vanilla and Marshmallow Blush. So a few months ago when I saw the Eshal at Ross or TJ for $25, I grabbed it. Biggest miss ever. Beautiful packaging, but all I get is chemical-rose and patchouli/sour musk (?). No vanilla anywhere. I can’t figure out if I got a bad bottle or if it’s just bad for me. It’s still sitting there, months later, unchanged and sour.
Yesterday I saw the adorable Marshmallow Blush box, and at $25.99, I still paused. Would this be another intensely bad fragrance for me? I figured there was no way these notes could be anything but sweet, so I grabbed it. And y’all, she is indeed the sweetest. Strawberry marshmallow cereal milk is how she sits on me. Dries down to something like a melted sundae. Creamy and sugary. I dig it, and my man went nuts for it. So now I’m wondering, any other recs for sweet and/or fruity Arab scents? They’re all blind buys, and I hate wasting money lol I’m a white flower, citrus, berry, amber, sometimes a bit a wood gal. Never, ever patchouli. My all time faves are My Way edp, Her Intense edp, Love Don’t Be Shy.
