I must preface this with a few major points:

1.) I'm on console so this will be a console only tier list since it differs from PC.

2.) This tier list has an obvious emphasis on loud, so some weapons may go up when stealth is involved. I did make sure to put the great stealth options no lower than B. Izhma, Judge, Raven, and Locomotive for example obviously go up even higher for actual stealth.

3.) If a gun has similar damage/pickup to another weapon but another weapon can achieve higher stability and accuracy stats on its own, it may be ranked higher.

4.) This list includes the effectiveness of the weapons as both akimbo and single, since for the most part that wouldn't change the ranking. There are a few notable exceptions to this: The single Goliath would drop significantly to bottom of B or top of C tier in the single variant. Without akimbo variants included in the ranking the Izhma would move to the S tier easily.

3.) If a gun has similar damage/pickup to another weapon but another weapon can achieve higher stability and accuracy stats on its own, it may be ranked higher.

4.) This is assuming you're using snipers at their optimal effectiveness, which is with a crit + graze build.

5.) Edit: In the case that you aren't using crit + graze or zerk, the S/A tier snipers (low damage) would become C tier, while the remaining snipers would go up a tier. The only exceptions are the Desert Fox would go to S tier and the Thanatos would stay in D tier.

There are two notable exceptions to this: The Krinkov and the CR 805B. They both are best in slot in akimbo, hence their high ranking. If I was to change the ranking of these two for their single variant, the Krinkov would be around top of B (probably behind the CMP) and the CR 805B would be top of C with plenty of better options available. In this scenario (ranking Krinkov and CR 805B outside of akimbo), the Kross Vertex could probably move up to S and the CMP to A.

I recently saw a post here from someone who decided to share the Auto Rifle tier list for Payday 2, so I figured I would share mine. I am Infamy 14 with a crimewave of 63,000+ so quite new compared to PC players. I must preface this with a few major points:

2.) This tier list has an obvious emphasis on loud, but the Car and Cavity 9 mm can obviously go up when stealth is involved. I did make sure to put the great stealth options no lower than B.
