The sweeper is supposed to be a symbiote, I kinda struggled to make them simplified AND recognizable
If anyone is curious, I made the name by mashing two different words from different languages (here it's Hawaiian "pua" (flower) and Greek "Εργάτης" (Worker).
This isn't much of a finished character, I just wanted to design a Satyriac char. Sorry if he looks too human I'm not that great at drawing non-human characters

Like, humans today can't even normally represent those of same exact species as they are who uust happen to have dark skin, or live long ago (like the Aztecs), or smth. I cannot imagine how hard media representation must be when you have like a dozen absolutely different species in your empire, and the only thing in common you have is the common distant ancestor (humans/star people) and sentience

Disclaimer: I suppose that eventually the climate of the Satyriacs' planet returned to something not identical, but quite similar to how it used to be before mass near-extinction of the Hedonists. I almost never interact with the fandom and I have never watched Kosemen's streams or something, so I might not know something because all my knowledge only comes from the book :_3
I don't know. I think that due to the relatively little area of land on the Planet, Satyriacs from the very beginning had pretty similar ways of clothing due to the not very diverse climate. After globalization, common daily clothes eventually became all pretty similar to each other. I think they'd wear some toga-like stuff (blanket wraps with belts, lmao) because of the warm weather (????? I think they have it pretty warm there???? Idk) and also because it's easier to untie the belt and take off the whole outfit than some intricate stuff. The pants from the book picture of a Satyriac might be something worn on-scene, not in daily life
Something I forgot to add - I was getting briefly inspired by ancient Minoan fashion, so I thought that maybe Satyriacs would too find bare-chested women to be something normal

Like, most (if not all) other species have descriptive names (lopsiders, modular people, snake people, etc.). I can imagine that peobably that's what they call themselves in their own languages. Meanwhile "satyriac" as a word is funny ro me because it's tied to a specific mythologyical creature (satyrs) humans of Earth used to believe into. Like, even with the hedonists I can imagine their name translating to smth like "The pleasurers" or smth in Satyriac*. Meanwhile SATYR is a specific creature referenced in the Satyriacs' species name. Like, how did they come up with it? "Let's call ourselves Satyriacs, this random clutch of letters sounds neat!"???? Or is it like a multistepahead thing like "In Satyriac* their species name is entirely different and based on a folklore creature of some ancient Satyriac civilization and Author merely adapted it for a human to understand the cultural reference????
