Welcome to the card draws!

This free card art will put your OC into an ongoing comic series I'm making known as Dead Man’s Hand, a collaborative project with a story set in a wasteland which does contain mature themes, there is also a short processing if you have been picked to become a card so keep a secret will ya.

Follow the rules or you ain't getting picked, I will be picking 6 new OC’s to join the series, submissions are allowed within around a 48 hour period.

1. OC Name, bio(with height and age), abilities, and image. (Full body and Preferably colored)
2. What poker card they will be. (Ex: 7 of hearts. Also pick a different card from the already shown ones, a list of available cards is on the bottom)
3. What role will they play in the wasteland (ex: wanderer, mechanic, etc. This might affect when your OC would appear in the series.)
4. Put a number divisible by 3 next to a ✅️ so I know you read them rules and I have your permission to add them to the comic series.

Hello everybody! It’s been quite a while since I did this (last time was just before my school year finished) so it’s exciting to get back into it! the process is as follows

- ill select a good handful of OCs from the comments

- i shall draw them to suit my type of style (note drawings may be headshots, half body’s, etc)

- I’ll try my best to get the pieces to you asap

With that, I hope to come across some amazing OCs to draw!

I felt like taking a break from creating new original characters of my own, so I’m going to draw the original characters of others instead!

To have your character considered for drawing, you’ve got to format your comment like one of my refs. Make sure your comment includes:

- The name of your character

- The species of your character

- Your character’s “element”. This one’s kind of weird. In-lore, a character’s “element” is really just cosmetic, existing only for cross-world parity. It’s just something that’s related to your character and/or their abilities or skills. It can be anything, really. Does your OC use fire magic? Their element could be Fire. Is your OC good at hacking? Their element could be Computer. Is your OC just a normal cat? Their element could be Fur. Honestly, as long as you can make it clear why it’s their element, you can put whatever here.

- A brief bit of information or lore about your character, in bulleted form. I usually try to stick to 4 or 5 bullets at most, but feel free to add more than that. Just please don’t write a whole essay.

- Within the information about the character, include at least one of their major positive traits, and at least one of their major negative traits, if applicable (if they’re a villain, they may not have any major positive traits, so that’s okay)

- Your character’s abilities. They don’t necessarily have to be magical or superhuman, they can just be something that your OC is good at.

Note that I probably will only pick 2 or 3, and it may take a few days, because I am a very slow drawer and also have work.

Also, the last two images are from Artfight. I plan to include the character name and creator name of the characters from here that I draw in the same way. If you’d like to be credited by something other than your Reddit username, please let me know in your comment.

This is vandall. He is the god of metal. (Basically magneto but OP). He’s able to control the very iron in your blood and stop a heart from beating with a thought. Thing is he’s looking for a team. He’s a damn good leader just has a hard time controlling his anger. Will you join him in protecting your world? Or will you step back and watch?

She's a little grumpy; not being the biggest fan of humans and all for not worshipping her anymore, but she likes the attention- even if she pretends she doesn't care.
