I'm working on superhero comic set in a cyberpunk Houston!

Story summary:

>Being a sidekick in Neo Houston is 10% fighting spandex-clad maniacs, 90% wondering if you really should have gotten a normal 9-to-5. Meet Quickwit (aka Witty). He's got a lame name, a pinchy costume, and a power no other caped crusader can even dream of: common fucking sense. Immune to the "Clark Kent effect" and various other superhero tropes, Witty is the only person in the city who can tell that his new "number one fanboy," Gannet, is... a supervillain!

I feel like as a verified Zim Freak™ I can't help but notice shows or characters with significant similarities to the show or at least Zim as a character. in my own work (sneaky link hehe) I definitely feel like I pulled from the show a lot in terms of color grading and world-building, and one of the main characters, as pictured here, definitely has some zim-isms.

Off the top of my head I also think hazbin hotel was really inspired. Anyone else notice zim copies in the wild? Or have you made your own Zim clone?

I make queer superhero comics, just wondering if anyone had tips to make my tiers more appealing/worth it?

For me personally, I think Homura's ascent into becoming the literal devil to save the one she loves is super epic. wish someone would be the homura to my madoka, smh.

This is my character pixamena from "My Fanboy, the Villain!?" and her magical pomeranian Pixiepuff :)

I write monster romance and I'm planning on writing a novella about these two, stay tuned on bluesky. The mermaid is named Calypso and the woman is Blythe :)
