What keeps you motivated?

I haven't played the game since March. All i remember I reached the security sector then stop cause I wanted to take a break from the game. But months pass with little to no motivation. Now i have the temptation to play again but kinda afraid that start because of the overwhelming feeling of getting used to the game again.

What keeps you motivated to keep playing? I want to have that motivation to play again for a long while soon.
