Getting a new engine under warranty due to the piston oil ring issue.
Vehicle has 105,000km on it. I owe $4,300 at 1% interest. Dealership is offering $14,000 trade in value.
Would you keep the vehicle or would you trade it in?
The VCR has trouble accepting tapes. Before it seats the tape it will auto eject. I have gotten it to accept the tape a few times. It plays, fast forwards, Rewinds and ejects. But if I try to Stop-Rewind it auto shuts down then when I power it back up the tape fails to retract before ejecting.
What I’ve tried: fully cleaned the units wiped down the surfaces that the tape touches, lubed the gears and other moving parts.
I don’t see any of the little lights that I’ve seen in all the other VCRs I’ve opened up so I assume this one uses different tech.
Any suggestions.
Have had it since 2020. A while ago I noticed a rattling noise at low speeds and acceleration, then the car stalled at very low speeds and turning left. I had an oil change scheduled anyway so took it in and after the oil change the rattling was gone and no more issues.
Then the exact same thing happened a while later, took it in for an oil change and again fixed the rattling and no stalling.
Well now it just started doing it again.
What could possible cause this!?
After the first time I thought maybe it was a battery connection issue and the tech maybe tightened it while checking the battery for the inspection but after the second time started that was what I checked first thing.
