I’ve seen about 5 posts today so far about people that bet the fuckin house on this earnings report. Now, I’m all for gambling, as I gambled up 120k yesterday and gambled away 10k today, but what the fuck guys? Did everyone expect a +15% AH without any hedge or safety?

After AMD cratered, I would have expected everyone to get the gist that the market isn’t ready for the almighty tech pumps we saw two months ago.

Personally I pulled out of all my leverage (I was on fucking 5.4x leverage), went to holding stock, and am just riding this shit. And gambling my soul away with SPY calls lol.

Alright, my story of MRVL is I was up $140k from initial, was heavily leveraged and got screwed all the way down through the month+ of crashes expecting it to rebound.

I was almost fully zeroed out with only $20k left. Then last Thursday happened, I rotated to even HEAVIER leverage seeing the momentum, and soared way up. Then today happened, I tried options for the first time and now, I am VERY close to my initial, and have gained well over $100k in 24hrs.

So now I take profits, stepping the FUCK out of leverage thank god, and am holding at the price I originally bought at 2 months ago. Now I will be patient and play the long game.

Fair warning though, expect a harsh red profit taking day very soon though. This upward swing was huge and the market likes equally huge sell off days to follow.

Guys. What the actual fuck are these stocks doing…

I‘ve never seen a whole sector, let alone ANY stock, fucking go up this much with literally nothing in the gas tank. And it’s still fucking getting bought up in Korea!! After they got all their leveraged money burnt!

My port is up 92% in the day and 41% afterhours.

Everything is wrong, I swear to God. What is going on lads..

We are fucking ripping. Full steam ahead. Next week SNDK earnings, they are gonna crush the fuck out of it I’m sure. MSFT and AMZN both turned the almighty sector downturn into the fuckin Orion rocket to Pluto with how much force we are ripping upward.

I’ve never seen such volatility. It’s unheard of. The premiums on options have to be so fucked you’d need a mill just to buy 10 contracts. SNDK alone was up 26% or 27%, not a single piece of news that actually related to the company, just the sector swing. What the fuck kind of market is this?

Well my fellow regards, we might just make it to the high 200s sooner than 3yrs, lol.

Alright lads. We all know the market has bundled every damn AI+Ai-adjacent company as one collective stock that greens or tanks the same day.

However, not every stock rises as fast as others.

MRVL is known to be sluggish with this. SNDK and MU though? My god, up 25%. The leveraged, 48% or so.

Now, I know they supply vastly different parts but are still in the collective, and support the same food chain.

So why do you hold MRVL instead of SNDK or MU? Sure, we all rip, but those REALLY rip.

I’m sorry, but your agony is prolonging Robinhood liquidating me (probably for like 4hours before the algorithm notices I’m still 30k in the hole lol).

Also shame on you for thinking this shit was going to rocket upward, you might as well be as insane as I am.

I saw someone say that in the span of 2 months we went from 200 to 328 to 178, and to just let it ride because it’s got plenty left to go.

And honestly? I agree. I was heavily invested in insanely slow growing infrastructure stocks that took their merry old time going up. Safe, but fuck all overall growth. Now? All in to AI. Have I lost a fuck ton of money? Yes. However I bought in planning to hold long term anyway, so there’s no point in me looking at the stock five times a day.

So I’m going to set up a monthly autoinvest and check back in three years.

Guys, I warned about this stock breaking loose from the overall sector performance (in a bad way). My posts would get deleted because I was “promoting people to sell”? Ridiculousness. I am promoting open dialogue about performance and speculation.

The stock has been on its own agenda downward, ignoring sector greenlights, yet crashing hard with their corrections. It barely moves on good news, and plummets on sector bad news. That’s not a good sign.

I held a huge position at 15. Held it through the peak, let it come down until I got an uneasy feeling about the stagnation and sold it all and got into huge growth tech stocks. That was a fantastic move, yet people on here acted like I was a fool and were saying good riddance. Insanity! Guys, NOK is not inventing the wheel 2.0, and photonics won’t see relevancy until 2030!

Every other stock sub limits the bullshit that we are seeing on this sub. These guys are peddling negative spam like they are praying to get in the money on puts.

It’s like I’m wading through shit.

Sure, MRVL is down a fuck ton, but honestly the sector is too. They all operate as one.

There are like 3 or 4 posters here that are peddling the negativity so damn hard you’d think they’re shorting the stock to the 7th circle of Hell. So they are idiots.

Then we have the people that FOMO’d so hard they bought heavy into the absolute top. Now..I am particularly the second group because I kept buying as it was rocketing up so I am down so fucking heavy right now.

I can’t tell which group is more moronic. (I can’t wait for the doomers to swarm this post talking about MRVL going to $1.50 or something)

The swings. I am full port MRVL (pre-Jenson but with big buyins along the way), and Jesus CHRIST.

Does this sector not believe in steady growth or do we only do 10% moves up or down daily?

Alright, NVDA saying they are making their own chip is probably the worse possible thing that could have happened.

Everyone knows that anything that touches NVDA (or muh AI) is a rocket. I believe that investors and speculators were believing that NOK would get more tightly bound to NVDA and ergo skyrocket due to the AI insanity.

However, that’s not happening and all that’s left is half-ass claims to fame to try to stay relevant. Unless the president comes out tomorrow and says he is buying half of NOK or Jenson says he’s buying the company, it’s going to be a slow crawl upward.

Now, I did mention that this is a comparative “done”. It will still inch up, I just fully believe that we aren’t going to get any moonshots anymore. I say this as I owned a chip stock that rocketed upward overnight and I guarantee NOK ain’t gonna be doing that!

tldr: NOK is a bear and everything else is bull, money printer no go brrrrr anymore

I got a pretty fat stack of shares, as I’m sure every else does at this point. Not much into the call put game because of market unpredictability (if anyone can tell me why the big tech giants can present gold on a plater and yet the stock still goes nowhere, let me know!).

But anyways, I gloss through posts here and it seems like no one has patience! Everyone is acting like we are on a sinking ship and if we don’t hit 30 in like two months, we might as well all jump off a tall building.

If it hits 30 in a few months, yippie. If it hits 20 in a few months, yippie. As long as we aren’t losing money, let’s all be happy. I feel like most of you guys are in the age of ”we need insane rocket overnight or else this was all for nothing“. Cmon.
