In my quest to satisfy a crisp/potato chip craving, I pressed them onto the roof of my mouth to try and eat them (like trying to suck a hard sweet) and I now have a sore on the roof of my mouth. Any advice on how to heal it and how long it'll take?

Rest assured I won't be doing that again...
