First time plane spotting at Dulles Airport (IAD)

These where taken from the udvar hazy observation tower which has free parking after 4. Right outside of the museum on sully road there is a little gravel patch if you park there, you are right next to the fence and the planes fly right above you (second photo), you can get a detailed picture even with your phone. Taken with sony a380 75-300 mm lens

Freshman in highschool, how should work on my future application to USAFA, I can't do any sports

Currently I'm a freshman in highschool, I do pretty well in school having a 4.0 unweighted gpa last year and getting a 1400 on the SAT, I workout often and have a buisness building PCs and am hoping to do CAP this year. But, I am not allowed to do any sports for some reason because my parents "said so". I was wondering if there was another way to get some leadership and fitness into my application?

First time plane spotting with a 16 year old camera, any tips?

I'm about 8 miles away from an airport, using a sony a350 with a 75-300 mm lens. In the first 3 I cropped a bit but I did not crop on the last. The photos I took seem to be really soft, noisy, and dark. I don't really know how to fix it being soft or dark since the camera's sensor is kinda bad.
