When do freshmen usually buy the Type B and PE uniforms?

Hi! I've already bought my Type A uniform, but I'm wondering about the Type B and PE uniform.

I have a few questions:

- Do freshmen need to buy the Type B uniform before the school year starts, or is it usually purchased around the second semester?

- Where to usually buy it?

- For the PE uniform, do we buy it before classes start, during orientation, or once PE classes begin?

I don't want to miss the selling period or end up buying something too early if it isn't needed yet.

I'd appreciate any advice. Thank you po!

Schedule from 1st year to 4th year? Is it really Monday–Saturday?

Hi! I'm an incoming BSA freshman and I recently saw the class schedule. It looks like classes are Monday to Saturday, with NSTP on Sundays, and honestly I'm a bit shocked. 😭

I just wanted to ask current BSA students or graduates:

- Are classes really pure face-to-face, or do you usually have online/asynchronous days?

- Does the schedule get lighter in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year, or is Monday–Saturday pretty much the norm throughout the entire program?

- How do you usually balance studying, orgs, and having a social life with this kind of schedule?

I'm also asking because I'm from the province and will be staying in Manila. I'm wondering if it's realistic to go home every week, or if the schedule is usually too packed for that. (It’s usually just a 4-5hr travel)

I'm trying to set realistic expectations before classes start. Any tips or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Is FAR Fundamentals 2025 edition by Millan worth it for BSA Freshie??

Hi everyone! I’m an incoming BSA freshman and I’ve been seeing this book (Financial Accounting & Reporting by Zeus Vernon B. Millan, 2025 edition) on TikTok.

I’m planning to study in advance for FAR since it's the major on our first sem and because I’ve heard quizzes can come pretty frequently (like every 2 weeks), and honestly I’m already feeling a bit pressured 😅

For those who are already in BSA or have taken FAR:

Is this book actually helpful for beginners/freshmen?

Is it beginner-friendly or more of a reviewer/advanced reference?

Would you recommend it for self-study before classes start, or is it better to wait for the professor’s materials?

Do profs use a certain book?

If not this book, what should I focus on instead?

I just don’t want to waste time studying the wrong material early on. Any advice would really help!
