will the new d&d: wow book be enough to start playing as a beginner?
i’ve been playing wow for years, but i’ve never actually gotten into d&d before, even though i’ve always wanted to try it.
with the upcoming d&d: wow collaboration, this honestly feels like the perfect excuse for me to finally start.
for people who already know d&d better than i do: is the new warcraft book supposed to give you everything you need to actually play a campaign in the setting, or will a new player still need to buy some of the regular d&d books too?
for example, would i also need the player’s handbook, monster manual, or any of those manuals or is the warcraft book expected to include all the rules and material to work mostly on its own?
i’m especially curious because i’d love for my first proper d&d campaing to be set in azeroth.
