How safe is it to use a PAS?

So I’m trying to self-teach me on how to climb multi pitch, I have practiced making an anchor point (a proper one obviously) and also on how to belay with a reverso on guide mode and all that but this is what I have seen from other people: a lot of people ask for slack and even undoing their figure eight while being held only to ONE parabolt, the problem here is that obviously, if the PAS fails the person belaying at the top will just fall to his death, is it supposed to be used like this or is this just a beginner mistake?

Powder question

Hello, I’m aware that we are in July and we have no snow on most of the world but I was remembering how shit I am at powder skiing and I’d really like to learn how to ski powder (for off-piste) and I wonder if anyone could help, I usually get the skis either buried on the deep snow and basically losing control or I can’t just get speed and still lose control, I use 80-90mm skis for powder (maybe for like 30-40cm of powder) or 100mm for more

Malware analysis qube config

Hello, I want to make a qube for malware analysis as secure and isolated as possible, I’m wondering what’s the best thing to do:

Option A: Making a disposable with no internet access and the required tools to RE the malware sample
Option B: Making a disposable with internet access and obviously the tools I need to RE the sample connected to a proxy so if anything happens the attacker won’t have my IP

Does pwn.college teach RE?

Hello, Id like to know if pwn.college really teaches anything related to RE, I’d like to learn how to make and exploit memory exploits, kernel security and also how to reverse engineer and maybe in the future malware analysis? Not sure about that one yet but I’ll see, I wonder if I’m doing the right path in order to later learn what I want.

Crampons related question

Hey, So some ago I bought a pair of grivel G12 crampons, used. Everything was alright, but I had noticed that it didnt have Anti-Balling Plates, a.k.a antibott. At that time I didnt care about it because I was a beginner just buying gear and I had no idea what they were. Now I cant stop thinking, do I really need them? should I buy a new pair of crampons with the antibott plates or not? can I install those on my own?

I'm looking forward to improve my privacy and also having a total control over my network, I need advice for a router from TP-Link preferably that is no more than 60eur and has VPN capabilities as well as WIFI6, I'm going to install a pi-hole as DNS server.
