Forgot a cutting board... What material and size is best for cooking for one?

Hi! I recently moved out on my own and am learning how to cook single serving meals. I bought all my basic pots, pans, and a decent chef's knife, but I completely blanked on getting a cutting board.

I’ve been looking online (browsing places like shein and a few other retail sites) and I’m a bit overwhelmed by the options. I see stainless steel, silicone, wood, plastic, etc. Since I only cook for myself, I have no idea what to choose.

What material is best for a beginner that won't ruin my knife? Also, what size would you recommend that is practical for one person but easy to wash in a small apartment sink? Thanks in advance!

Lowered my pegs and it feels way better than I expected

Lowered the pegs on my X1 Spark and it feels way better than I expected. My knees don’t feel as scrunched up now, and standing up over bumps feels a lot more natural. Kinda funny tho, they almost look like pedals now lol. Only thing I’m wondering about is clearance. Am I gonna start clipping rocks and stumps more often? Anyone else done this?

Anyone found a decent ai music video generator from audio yet?

Recently Ive been playing with pulling some tracks into visuals and to be honest most ai music video generator from audio tools still just feels very hit or miss to me. A few of them actually create really cool looking scenes that stand alone, but as the song gets longer, the pacing seems to get a bit offset from the music in the process.

So I tried out Freebeat the other day after catching a few mentions of it in some music visualizer threads.

It was actually pretty interesting to mesome of the beat syncing in certain sections actually felt pretty natural, Mainly on more punchy, transition-heavy songs. Though not completely convinced of any of those workflows yet. Would like to know what other people's experiences are, and if anyone has found a way that is consistent over whole songs, not just small sections.

Just wanted to show the lace on this one

It’s HD lace and I melted it down with some melting spray + a wig band. I left the band on for a while and honestly I’m really happy with how it turned out 😭 The lace blended way better than I expected. I did some braids myself too!

Hourglass scene vs Sheglam cutie pie comparison

If you finished your Hourglass liquid blush in scene but aren't sure about the price tag you might want to try Sheglam cutie pie. Both are beautiful peach pink shades. In the first photo the top swatch is Hourglass and the bottom is Sheglam.

The textures are quite different though. Hourglass feels much dewier and almost oily on the skin. Sheglam is more of a traditional liquid blush with a watery feel. It is also more pigmented and opaque than Scene. I included a photo of them blended out in the second slide. Hope this helps!

It’s not really possible to generate the whole scene directly yet. For the scene layout, I drew a simple room layout design sketch myself, then had AI generate a flat reference image based on it. As for the models, the relatively more complex ones were generated with Tripo AI , like the teddy bear and guitar decoration in the room. Any tips on making this cleaner or more game-ready?
