Wet n Wild eyeshadow foil held up better than expected

I was worried after reading some reviews for the chameleon chrome eyeshadow foil but I'm impressed with how it stayed all day in 95° weather, and going swimming. Pics are throughout the day. I used it as a topper, which I think helped. I also used a ton of it so I could pat it on, not swipe. Had to go fast and after applying I kept my eyes closed for a few minutes. It started to flake more after about 12 hours, otherwise it wasn't too bad.

Makeup to reduce redness?

Whenever I get hot, my face sweats and turns bright red. It shows over my makeup no matter what I do. I tried green color corrector but that never stays on. I tried full converse foundation but still comes through. Any brands or suggestions?? Also makeup to help sweat less would be great too.

First time doing make up and I'm visually impaired so it took 2 hours. How did I do?

Is this a good casual look? . I used basic elf products and now Im coming up with enough characters to satisfy the post body requirement but I don't know what to say and can't believe it's taking this many words to be able to post.

Makeup brands and loyalty

I’m curious how everyone feels about the current makeup landscape.

Is there a makeup brand you genuinely love and keep coming back to? What makes it special?

And if you could change one thing about today’s makeup brands, or create something that doesn’t exist yet, what would it be?

Skin tints

Hi everyone.

Does anyone have a recommendation for skin tints that are long lasting? (8 hours)
I used the MILK one but wasn’t long lasting. Normally I wear the IT CC cream but it’s so heavy for summer.

How to color correct birthmark?

Hello!

Personally, I use shades lighter than my skin tone because it makes my whole look glow.

However, for my case what I do is: color correct my red birthmark with green color corrector concealer, and applying it like spot conceal. then a peach color corrector for my dark eyes (including undereye) then i wait for it to dry then apply pressed powder over the concealed areas. then i proceed to do liquid foundation and then conceal again for my birthmark but this time with a skin color concealer

It really covers my birthmark to be honest. and then i repeat after the concealer i bake it with pressed powder then proceed to nose contour to give it time to rest. however, when i go with my liquid blush and bronzer its like all those concealers and color correct went to waste because it shows up again but this time in this blackish like color. Like putting a skin color concealer over dark undereyes without color correcting.

With that, even finding tutorials for color correcting are hard because my case is: I have a birthmark on my face. I just want a makeup look without the birthmark blemishes showing. Can someone give me suggestions on how to cover my birthmark without smudging the base? Tyia!

Eyeshadow topper palette

Hi! Anyone have any suggestions for eyeshadow topper palettes? I have a *plethora* of mattes, and my favorite thing is to throw a shimmer on top. A similar vibe I found is Clionadh On Topper The World palette, but there’s no indication it’s coming back in stock. I could make my own, but I’m wondering if there’s anything premade that exists. Thanks!

confident doing creative looks, struggling to find everyday makeup i like

i’ve been doing my makeup for about 10 years and love doing creative colorful looks with big liner, but i can’t seem to find an everyday look that i like. i’m starting a new more professional job soon and i want to have a quick routine that helps me look/feel more put together.

my current go-to is a dark brown eyeshadow on an angled brush in the lower lash line, blended out a bit with a fluffy brush, then a light gray on the inner corner and browbone w mascara. then i use blush on the apples of my cheeks and some bronzer on my nose to bring attention to the middle of my face. then usually some lipgloss.

i think there’s something going on with my undertones that make it look/feel more costume-y.

should i go for a cooler or warmer undertone for my products, or is my blush/eye application sabotaging me?

blush is wetnwild (color name is worn off), all eyeshadow is color pop neutrals matte palette, and the bronzer is a nondescript stick from walgreens.

How to achieve this makeup look? 😭

Let me know the whole routine with product names preferably.

I'm especially curious about those eye shimmers. So please tell me which eye products will help me achieve that wet look on my eyes.

And lip product. I love shades like that. So if you know any glossy lip colours or even matte ones the same shade. I have two toned lips so give recommendations according to that please.

First time ever attempting makeup for graduation to save money. Be honest, how did I do?

only watch tutorial videos, and I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing and just wanted to try evening out my skin tone and covering up some redness and acne marks. I tried to keep it looking natural, but I’m not sure whether it looks good.

Any advice, tips on color matching, or technique recommendations for a total beginner would be highly appreciated!

Merit Lip Liner in Beverly Hills Review or Dupe?

I tried on Merit Lip Liner in Beverly Hills in store, liked it, and purchased it online since it was sold out in store. Forgot to read the reviews which say it's incredibly difficult to sharpen. Does anyone have this liner that can leave a review or can anyone recommend a dupe? Thank you so much
