Okay my lovelies! 💜🤎 I swear this is the last time y'all gotta see my face before my wedding! 😂 But I applied lash clusters for the first time yesterday and I'm CRAZY proud of how nice they look! 🥹 My wedding dress is emerald/copper and some of you really support my love for color and encouraged going with a purple eye look and this is what I'm calling "wedding plum" and I think it'll be the right amount of fun but still timeless so I'll love it in photos when I'm 80. I also think I finally got the brows right, but please feel free to still give me any feedback! (And any tips for pressing in lash clusters without fusing the tweezers to your face would be greatly appreciated! I only panicked like twice! 😅)

Soooooooo what had happened was.....I dropped her and broke her 😭 so then I followed the "how to fix a broken powdered product" where I broke it up more and then added a few drops of rubbing alcohol to form a thick paste, pressed it back together with a plastic spoon, pressed out the excess liquid with a clean paper towel on top of it and left it open overnight to fully dry and it turned GREEN like this!!! What happened?! It looks like that oxidized rust color? Did the pan do that? Any chemists out there know what the heck?! But most importantly, is there any way this is still safe to use? Because this is Colour Pop's Flirt Alert blush that no longer exists which was the only dupe for Benefit's Dallas that also no longer exists and I really wanted to use this shade in my wedding look 😭😭😭

Does anyone have any pairing suggestions for BBW Very Violet Body Lotion? This is not my normal thing and I'm not sure what to put with it. I love that it's feminine, cozy, and sophisticated. I would prefer something more affordable but open to others. I'm sensitive to musks so this lotion is already as musky as I'd enjoy all day. 🪻

How did I not know how THICC this sunscreen is?! Being one of the 4 Korean sunscreens with NO Niacinamide, I just assumed it would be exactly like the other Korean sunscreens I have and use: very fluid, absorbs beautifully, feels like a light hydrating lotion, glowy finish, etc.....but nope! The Purito Sunscreen is a much more emollient creamy textured lotion and takes a little bit longer to absorb. It's still absolutely gorgeous and far superior to all US sunscreens but I don't think I can use it in the summer! I have normal skin that gets dryer in winter and oilier in summer and I tried this today and it felt too heavy. 😱 So, for my dry skin people or anyone with a very damaged skin barrier that still needs to protect themselves from the sun, this is the one you want! I'll pick it back up in winter.

If anyone remembers, I put up a post asking for perfume recs for my November courthouse wedding and took a bunch of your recommendations and started sampling! Some of these are straight up disgusting but some are magical and my perfect wedding scent is in here! The results:

I'll start with the Duas.

🍫Playful Chocolate Delight is my favorite of these. It's dark chocolate, plum, and amber. Very rich and perfect date night autumn scent. 8/10

🫐 Poison Berry is part of my quest for the perfect sexy blackberry scent. It's a little cough syrupy right now but I can see the promise. Letting it develop. 6/10

🍊 Voices of Angels (Inspiration: Chœur Des Anges by Atelier Des Ors) I was really looking forward to the blood orange and orange blossom and carrot in this! But right now it kind of just smells like you just opened a packet of Emergen-C and sniffed it. I also have hopes for this one with time. 5/10

🍾 Pink Champagne 9.0 is (Inspired by Zarkoperfume PINK MOLéCULE 090.09) I get a tiny bit of a brüt Champagne in the top but then it's all black elder and mahogany and ick. 2/10

Then I picked up 3 Middle Eastern fragrances that I thought fit the bill.

🍷 Fragrance World Artisan Perfumery Brown Sugar (Inspired by Bohoboco Red Wine Brown Sugar) This is supposed to be red wine and raspberry and rose and caramel! It's the nastiest, super dated, bug spray I've ever smelled! And the volcanic rock cap offends me! (I'm just being dramatic but I hate touching it!) -1/10

🌹French Avenue Grecia Rosa Extrait (Inspired by Les Liquides Imaginaires Dom Rosa) This is supposed to be grapefruit champagne with rose and woody notes and oof the blend is NOT blending and it smells like it's gone bad. I think it's the combo of cedar, Vetiver, and oud....they go rancid to my nose! 0/10

🍯 French Avenue Nectaré Extradose - This is just smelling of old school white florals and baby powder. I don't get any honey or woodsy notes. 2/10

Now the Designers!

☁️ Givenchy Organza - Now THIS is 90s white flowers done right! I think it's the honeysuckle that's makes it special. But this is way more of a spring scent so not for my Nov wedding. 8/10

🥂 Jimmy Choo Illicit - The only thing I don't love about this scent is how light and not long lasting it is. With a name like "illicit" I was expecting more punch! But it's a very pretty citrus floral. 8/10

🫟 Jimmy Choo Fever - ugh this is the PERFECT sexy fall scent! Juicy plum, heady heliotrope and vanilla orchid, sexy tonka bean! I'm madly in love with this! 10/10

👄 Givenchy L'Interdit Rouge - if I could fuck a fragrance, it's this one. I get it. I get why this is on every single "sexiest" or "femme fatale" or "make him beg" list. I don't usually like ginger in perfume. Or licorice. But this shit is, as us millennials know, sexual nepalm! 100/10

🌲 Serge Lutens Feminite Du Bois - This scent makes me want to punch someone. I'd never heard of this house before but this scent was recommended a few times and the notes sound fantastic. It's a warm spicy/woody plum scent. Absolutely! NOPE! All I get is a crunchy forest floor with some kind of masculine spicy resin dripping from the trees. Apparently the name means "femininity of the wood" and now I wanna know if Serge ever met a woman.....0/10

🫧 Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Le Bubbly - I was really surprised with how fresh and modern this is!!! I was never into JC when I was a teen so I missed the craze but this is a very fresh, effervescent citrus floral and it's stunning! Even got a second backup already since it's discontinued. 10/10.

So........what did I pick? 🤔❓️

I'm going to be layering L'Interdit Rouge and Le Bubbly 😃 They actually go amazingly together because of the blood orange note they share. I'll get the celebratory feel of bubbles from Le Bubbly and the long lasting autumnal vibes from L'Interdit Rouge. I MIGHT gild the lilly a little by doing Tree Hut Pink Champagne body serum first.

I do still have Ellie Saab Le Parfum coming and I need to smell Rouge Malachite yet too! I was too scared of Musc Noir Rose since I'm sensitive to musks....but thank you all for your suggestions! I love trying all the new houses you introduce me to!

Since I cannot find a summer citrus that 1. LASTS and 2. doesn't have a men's cologne feel, I've been really in love with these "warm solar skin" scents this summer!

My layering combo today: Saltair Salt Water Vanilla Body Cream, Sugar Me Sweet Cocoa Butter & Banana Blossom, and Phlur Beach Skin Body Mist

Also, I know someone else mentioned Sugar Me Sweet last week and I wanted to echo my love for this small fragrance brand! She's on Etsy and I have now tried dozens of her scents and love this brand! They are oil-based but you can get them in roll-on or spray, which I love since I prefer spray. And I'm shocked at how long they last on my skin, at least 6 hours. NOTHING lasts on my skin. She primarily does gourmands and some inspired by scents. My fiance is obsessed with Fruity Pebbles and I got him the 10ml of her Fruity Pebbles fragrance and he cannot get enough of it. It's extremely photo realistic and yummy! My favorites are:

Cocoa Butter & Banana Blossom - This is creamy, dreamy, and a summer floral banana. There is no laffy taffy here!

Pistachio & Magnolia - *eyes roll back in head* This is just intoxicating. Salty, Nutty, Creamy, Feminine

Cozy Vanilla Cashmere - This is inspired by the VS scent but I don't know that one. It's just the perfect warm, soft skin vanilla

Sweetheart Cherry - This is a juicy red cherry with vanilla. Super fun and playful!

Peach Sugar Cone - I am SUPER picky about peach scents! I hate all the ones that go "peach rings". I love the way Japanese Beauty does peach. The fresh, juicy, spring peach! And this is exactly that mixed with ice cream cone. It's delicious!

I get nothing for hyping this brand, I just love it and love supporting small businesses. She packages and ships VERY well. And also.....AFFORDABLE. <3

I always sift through the "cheapie" bottles of perfume at TJ Maxx but I've never actually sniffed any of them before. I usually just look for anything I've heard of and move on. But I smelled this one and it immediately intrigued me. I sprayed a teeny half spray on my wrist and put it back walking around the store looking at other stuff. This scent wouldn't let me leave without it! I kept getting whiffs and had to grab it.

I can't even find actual scent notes anywhere online, just the AI Google slop answer which doesn't seem accurate to my nose. Even the brand's own website doesn't have this scent on it. To me, it's what the women in Greece or the Almafi coast of Itlay smell like. It's oceanic and fresh without going masculine/cologne-like. It's soft sun-bleached woods with something softly spicy? like a clove or maybe anise/licorice? There are florals but nothing heady or sharp or sweet. If you want to smell like the ocean without it being tropical/sunscreen/coconut OR masculine/citrus/mint.....this is the PERFECT middle ground. And it's only $15 and that half-spray on my wrist lasted hours.

AH! She's here and she's PERFECT! I really wanted a wedding band that matched and enhanced my engagement ring and after looking at hundreds of options, a coworker who can work magic in Canva to make mockups for me, and talking to multiple different ring designers.....I'm SO HAPPY with how it turned out.

Both are Alexandrite, Lab Opal, and Pearl in White Gold. We get married in November <3
