Hi,
we’re four guys, and we’ve put together Westminster’s restaurant scene in an app called Vota. The concept is simple: you see two places side by side (for example Famille vs. Kachina Southwestern Grill), you choose the place you’d rather go to, and the ranking updates instantly. The more people vote, the more accurate the list gets over time. There are still a few duplicates here and there, but I’m continuously cleaning up the data.

P.S. I’m not from Westminster (I live in Gothenburg). I’m not collecting data, not selling anything, and the app does not use AI-generated content. I’m posting in a few different subreddits because we now support more regions, and I genuinely want honest feedback from people who actually know the area.

new friends ?

idk what flair to put this under nor do i know if this post is acceptable but i am new (ish) to appleton. i moved out here almost a year ago & havent met a single person fr or made a friend. i do have a boyfriend so please no weirdos, creeps or anything of that matter. i am 25, i enjoy books, video games, art, music, fashion, makeup, anime, cooking, etc. id love to meet ppl around my age out here, ive been mega depressed the whole year ive been here tbh. ive had some personal/spiritual issues goes on during that time but since moving here my social life has gone from low to practically 0 and its beyond lonely and sad at this point i wont lie. all i ask is to not make me feel uncomfortable, genuinely please lol

Stupid drivers

By the mall this evening on the Wisconsin Ave side and seriously - PEOPLE!!! Blocking the entire intersection at every turn of the light, not just one or two people but a number of cars every time the light turned. Do you drivers know you’re not supposed to enter the intersection unless it’s clear for you to get through?!? wtf is wrong with everyone around here??

Divorce Lawyers

Looking for recommendations for divorce attorneys in the fox valley area, please share your experiences / who to avoid potentially. Specifically ones who can handle custody / divorces with minor children. Im hoping I won’t need an attorney but I want to have some in my back pocket in case it becomes necessary.
