Mixing Stone Shapes

How do we feel about mixing stone shapes? I sort of like the look of an oval with a pear.

Help my find wedding band

Hi, long time lurker, first time poster.

I’m looking for advice on what style of wedding band would go well with my engagement ring.

I got engaged this past winter and received this gorgeous ring, which I absolutely fell in love with.

But when I started looking for wedding bands, I realized I have no idea what style of band would go with it.

Since the ring has diamonds on the sides as well, I thought a band with a contoured profile might be a good match, so I could at least wear both rings together sometimes.

What would you recommend?

Help me find an affordable band!

Hi! We’re getting married in less than a month and I still don’t have a wedding band. I blew all the budget on my wedding ring pictured. I’m having a hard time finding something that will sit flush with the ring since it has baguette diamonds on the side anyone have a good idea or a specific ring in mind under $500

Will this wedding band last well over time?

I found a wedding band that's really pretty but I'm not sure if it will last overtime or just be a headache. I'm pretty sentimental and would be pretty sad if I had to replace it due to damage or it being impractical in my day to day. I plan on wearing it everyday. For seasoned band wearers what are your thoughts? Should I pull the trigger and get it?

Can’t begin to think what wedding ring should go with this !!

My fiancé picked the absolute perfect engagement ring and I love it so so much, but I can’t envision what band should go with it, and I keep getting overwhelmed trying to look lol. I’m on a lower budget, no more than $500 hopefully but I can wiggle if I find the perfect one! I’m open to any and all suggestions! Thank you!!

EDIT: thank you all so much! I didn’t realize I didn’t need a separate band so I think I’ll just keep it as is! I might look into really think bands to go under but it’s just perfect how is is.

Need advice on insuring the wedding heirloom ring

I’m gonna be proposing to my girlfriend in July with her grandmother’s vintage ring. Her dad handed me the ring after I asked him for his blessing and told him I’d love for their family to help me with the proposal. This ring has been in their family for years, so now I feel like I’m gonna be sweating till July making sure nothing happens to it. Her sister suggested I insure it but I don’t have receipts or paperwork or anything like that. Does anyone know how that process works for family heirloom rings and who did you insure your rings with?

Drop a photo of your 70s,80s, or 90s e-rings!

My husbands grandmothers ring. They were married in 1962, she had this new setting made in 1992.

Can't find a suitable wedding ring to match engagement ring.

Hey everyone, I love my engagement ring but I am really struggling with ideas for wedding bands that would suit the style, does anyone have any advice or inspiration they could share?

Thanks in advance!

Edit:

Hi all! Just hopping on here again to say thanks to everyone for taking the time to leave helpful suggestions and ring compliments! Feeling very grateful 😊. I went to a jeweller this afternoon to get a complimentary plain band made as per all your recommendations, thanks again! 🩷

My complete wedding band set

After seeing everyone's pictures of their gorgeous rings, I got inspired to share my own!

This complete set was a slow process, starting with only the central deep blue sapphire engagement ring and then adding the 2 outer bands only after my wedding earlier this year.

Completely obsessed with how it came out😍

What do you guys think?

Need opinion, diamond small?

For reference I have a size 7 finger. Excuse my nails. Giving them a break from polish.
I just received my ring back from being corrected. Prongs were incorrectly done (and other stuff) but anyways this was meant to be a tribute ring I had done in honor of my first ring my husband proposed with many years ago. I didn’t wear jewelry back then so I traded it in for another wedding band. Many years down the road with my appreciation and new found love for jewelry I wanted to recreate a ring in honor of the first. The diamond he picked was a half carat. What he could afford at the time. So I picked a half carat natural again based off of that.
I’m sharing photos of it with my family and friends and everyone is telling me I should’ve gone bigger and it looks very dainty/small. I do own a 2 ct emerald lab diamond in a bezel setting which was my upgrade my husband had gotten me a while back. Im being told that I should just be happy with that “upgrade” and let the original ring from the past go. No need to recreate anything. So I’m torn between keeping it as is, upgrading the diamond to a bigger stone bc apparently it’s too “small” or just returning it and being happy with my 2 ct emerald diamond bezel. Any thoughts appreciated!

My small family stone

My moms stone reset with a “halo”. I think it’s 1/4 carrot. The original band had the sapphires. The second band was a replacement when we thought we lost the first in move prior to wedding. Teenie tiny and well loved.

"Good set" vs "every day set"

Im curious to know if anyone else who saves their original wedding set for special occasions and wears a different ring for every day has 2 vastly different styles? Or did you choose a similar dupe/travel/every day ring? My set my partner and his daughters picked out is gorgeous but super fragile with tons of tiny prongs and I was breaking it constantly being a wheelchair user. So I bought a bezel set moissanite to wear every day instead of my LeVian chocolate and white diamond set. I love them both! Please share pics too!!

This ruby ring made me forget diamonds exist

I was browsing Diamondere late one night and customized a vintage style ruby ring. The deep red color looks awesum in person, photos really don’t do it justice. Rubies honestly deserve more love for engagement rings.

lost wedding set

Hey all,

Looking for some advice as I am inconsolable at the moment. I have lost my wedding set box and all, I have torn apart the home looking for it I have lifted furniture, dismantled furniture checked the usual spots, bags, cupboards with no luck. I for the life of me can’t remember what I did with them apart from I took them off before cooking and put them in the box. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Help me pick a wedding band!

I have no clue what kind of band will look good with my ring. I like the idea of the pearl ones but I’m not sure if it would look good. I live in a small town so we don’t have a lot of small, boutique jewelry stores that would have rings like this to try on. With the style of my ring, I feel like I would need a curved band. Feeling so indecisive about it all!! Help!

struggling to pick a wedding band

We’re down to the wire with 19 days until our wedding and I have no idea what kind of wedding band I want. I’ve been interested in the scattered diamond half-band look (not full eternity band) however it’s like near impossible to find in platinum to match my ring. I’m open to any other suggestions.
