My partner is a watch maker (currently a hobbyist but would like to be professional one day). I am looking to set up a watch making fund for his birthday this year, and hope to buy a book or something nice to accompany it.
He has worked on quite a few movements(thought I am not a professional at all) to different degrees - including servicing and replacing parts - and is equipped with all the basic tools (he has a vintage German watch cleaning machine which he fixed himself, not sure it helps). He just started doing polishing/refinishing on watch cases and has some basic tools.
I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on what books or tools to get him?

Hi Everyone, I am doing a home renovation, I think it’s a 70s house and wanted to do something that’s more fitting for the vibe. Settled on these type of sort of off white kitchen cabinets (and potentially install it with wooden bench top) and coundnt rly find it anywhere…
