What this white background needs, obviously, is a lot of cat hair, and maybe some claw marks.

I hadn't realized how much cat hair was on my rug until I laid the quilt out today, but the cats seem to think it wasn't enough.

Looking for sailboat suggestions -- want to make two small quilts from a pile of great-great-grandma's unfinished quilt squares

My grandmother didn't finish the quilt she started for my nephew before she passed, and I want to turn those blocks into two lap quilts for her great-great grandchildren.

Any ideas for fun layouts or additional squares I could make to add to the quilts?

I tend toward modern quilts when I make them myself, but Gram was more of a traditional quilt pattern type. Either would work great!
