An observation.

It seems like when we talk about a hero being "good" or "bad" we kinda forget that there's 50 different heroes and 6 players on each team. Which means there's however many combinations of heroes possible on each team at any given time.

To then go on and say stuff like "so and so is a good dive," or "such and such is a bad tank" with no further clarification or caveats is insane to me. All the different possibilities of team comps and various skill levels in each game, and we're just gonna state stuff like it's a fact with no further explanation.

People in the subreddit type with such commitment and vitriol and no nuance whatsoever.

There can be so many things happening every second of the 10-20 minutes each game takes. Every person on each team of 6 is making a decision for themselves. With that in mind, I don't know how any of you can confidently say anything about this game (i.e. judge the balance decisions, judge the characters, etc.) without writing an essay with visual aids to defend your case.

I don't expect to change this. It's natural for people to whine and complain on the internet. What I am hoping is if you see this and you have a brain and you want to learn more about the game, ignore the subreddit. Don't come here to discuss hero balance, strategy, or any of that kind of stuff here, you'll just read a cacophony of people typing with no regard for their own bias.

Instead, rewatch your games. A lot. Go back and rewatch games you lost. Rewatch games you won! Slow it down and follow other players so you can see what they were doing. Use the freecam during the replay and watch the team fights from above. Figure out the things that could have gone different and why things went the way they did. If you play with friends, watch replays back with them! It's so much fun! Go on discord and share your screen and watch replays of your games like you're a football coach watching the tapes back. It's SO HELPFUL.

Anyway, sorry this is a long post. I don't post a lot and this felt good to put out there. I'm just trying to help people to not perpetuate uninformed and braindead takes on the game. The tools are there for you to use and learn about the game and the facts are never gonna be as simple as some comments want to make it seem.

Rock and stone, or keep rivaling or whatever just don't get pissy with me in the comments.

Because apparently a lot of people have never seen this before

I recently learned that this is a very uncommon label for a live room mic. Here is photographic evidence that this does exist. Thank you.
