Bridesmaids taking over planning:
I want to hear opinions, am I right to be upset in this situation: Me and my spouse are getting married in less than a month. We have many bridesmaids and they are very exited to help plan the wedding, which we are very thankful for. However, today we were asking for information on the music and program (games etc.) that they had promised to plan. They said yes they are planning it, but they won’t tell us anything, because it’s a surprise. They wouldn’t even tell us the songs they will perform and who will perform which ones even after we said we wanted to put them in the wedding newspaper. When we tried asking again they just shut us off by saying ”we don’t need to worry about anything and just enjoy”. Which is stupid because they know we actually don’t enjoy surprises and we really like to plan events.
I feel so sad I feel like they are taking away the experience of wedding planning from me even though it’s my own wedding. I want to confront them but my spouse thinks we should just let it go, even though she also got upset about it.
