Cheating or not?
I’ve been with my boyfriend for 3 1/2 years.
The first year we were dating and the second year I thought we were official. And the third year definitely official. We were on again off again for various reasons. I just found out about a girl he had been talking to the first two years of our relationship. The conversation looked Platonic except in the very beginning where they showed interest in each other.
The rest of the convo seemed like friendly banter. The catch is that I’ve asked about her time to time and if he’s been talking to her or has ever met up with her and the answer has always been no. (I never looked through his phone until now) in Dec of 2024 i asked one last time about her, and he said no. and that exact same day he finally met up with her for a dinner and he told me it was because her mom passed away. In January of 2025 she found out about me and told him that she cant talk to him anymore and that was that. (Because she thought…it was going somewhere) so it must have meant something right?
Am i over reacting?
