Why is this so complicated?

My daughter is turning 8 next month and I thought I was keeping things small this year, but somehow it’s already becoming more complicated than I expected. We booked a small indoor play place because the weather here is unpredictable lately, and now I’m realizing I have no real system for invitations or tracking who’s actually coming. Some parents answer texts right away, some respond days later through Instagram, and a few usually tell me in person during pickup instead of replying directly.

I started looking into digital birthday invitations and came across Birthday Rizz while trying to figure out a better way to keep everything in one place, because I already feel like I’m losing track of conversations and I haven’t even finalized the food yet. The party itself honestly feels easier to figure out than the communication part right now. For parents who do this more often, how do you keep everything organized without making it feel like a second job?
