Looking for advice on a PC upgrade

I built my first and current PC almost 6 years ago on a budget, and I am finally thinking it is time for an upgrade, but I have almost zero idea where to start. A classmate in high school made my initial parts list, but I am about to start medical school now. The current PC works well as a desktop, but it performs really poorly for gaming, and I wanted to play some games (Marvel Rivals, Fortnite, Overwatch 2) that my computer now struggles with. I am looking to upgrade my current setup within a $750 budget. I understand most of my parts were outdated even six years ago, so I am also trying to figure out if there is anything salvageable or if I need to start a new build.

My current Parts List:

  • CPU
    •  AMD Ryzen 3 2200G

  • Graphics Card
    • AMD RX 570

  • Drives
    • Kingston A400 120GB SSD
    • Pcie SSD 1TB Inland 1TB Performance Plus NVMe (bought within the past year)
    • WD WD5000AACS-00ZUB0 500GB Hard Drive
  • Memory
    • Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2400 C16 2x8GB

  • Motherboard
    • MSI B450M Pro-M2
  • Case
    • Lian Li Lancool II Mesh RGB
  • Monitor
    • AOC C27G1 144Hz 27 Inch Curved Monitor
  • Mouse
    • Glorious model O
  • Keyboard
    • RedDragon Kumara K552-1

Again, I'm looking for general advice on what parts to upgrade (i'm assuming at the least CPU and GPU). I have no idea where to start or to even see which parts are compatible so any advice at all would be greatly appreciated.
