Haunted/Paranormal places in or around Seattle?
Hi fellow Seattleites,
I’m doing a photo project for my college photography class where we are creating a Zine with any theme of our choice, with a maximum of 8 images.
For mine, I have decided to go with a haunted/paranormal/dark history theme and plan to collect a photo from 8 different locations and include a short passages about each location and the ghostly legends that go with each one.
I’ve been trying to do research for places but some of the places I’ve found that would be really cool are way too far of a drive to be reasonable to go to for a project.
So what are some places that people would recommend in Seattle or the surrounding areas/city’s that have dark histories and/or are considered to be haunted???
The only requirement is that it has to be free and legal to access.
Below are some places I’ve come up with so far but I’m hoping to have some back ups so that I can get to 8 locations even if I can’t get to some of the ones listed below as a few require “hikes” to get into the areas.
Places that are easily Assessable
- Pike Place Market
- Martha Washington Park
Places with “Hikes”
- Discover Park Light House
- Point Defiance Park
- Promontory Point in sand Point Naval Air Station
- Paradise Valley Conservation Area
