My manager is a little newer and still getting to know about the Starbucks world. This couple who comes in often randomly asked the manager if they can host their “events” here, the manager said yes and gave them aprons as they pretended to be baristas and paid for like 4 peoples drinks mothers drinks on Mother’s Day. They have an Instagram now (not a business one or a lot of following) and said that their event was a success and want to do again and bring 90 people in for Father’s Day? They have been posting flyers and telling us we need to have our best baristas there that day. And they are posting online that they need money for this event and if anyone wants to contribute to cashapp??? Like what?? They have no business they lowkey seem like scammers and are expecting to be able to come behind the counter again?? Is there anything I can do about this because it’s so hard to work around to random strangers???
