TSW7 Route Predictions

I know this type of post has been made thousands of times by now and is extremely generic concept wise, but what routes should be added to tsw but here is my predictions

UK Route: Hopefully something in the North, but probably be London Served, in that case Hopefully London Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria since I’ve been on that line irl and the Lea Valley Line to Accompany It but the most likely route out of London Liverpool Street would be London-Ipswich (any time period is appropriate but it’s most likely going to be set in the modern day)

German Route: the Hamburg area is under-utilised and I know it’s been done in TS Classic but a section of the Wanne Eickel Railway also known as the Rolbahn, most likely Bremen To Hamburg

US Route: I actually don’t know for the US Route but if so probably another US Freight Route

Let me know what you think in the comments!

I’ve been enjoying Nahverker Dresden recently, what route should I get

I have the starter routes:

Koln-Aachen
Frankfurt-Fulda
Dresden-Leipzig (OG is better imo)

What German route would you reccomend?

Bristol Regional: Bristol Temple Meads to Exeter St David’s + The Branch to Severn Beach

Route Set: 2023

Line Length: 92 Miles

Cost (GBP): £32.99

Hell everyone! It’s been a while hasnt it? I am suggesting the GWR Bristol-Exeter Route because I have been on a section of it IRL (Bristol-Weston Super Mare), anyways onto the reason

The Bristol-Exeter line is a good combination of Commuter, Regional and Express services, as the Class 802, 166, and 165s are already in the game, this will be layers

Rolling Stock:

Class 800: this train is identical to the class 802 except that it can do less gradients basically.

Class 158 (GWR): already in the game but can do unique 3 car consists, also has a reduced timetable compared to the 165/166s, and is a historic train, Layers onto Riviera Line

LAYERS:

Class 150 (AI at Exeter St David’s)
Class 165 (Playable on Severn Beach services)
Class 43 (Playable services)
Class 158 EMT (AI)
Class 220 (Playable)
Class 66

DLCs:

Class 221 is a train of the Voyager family also with the 220, unlike the 220s the 221s have 5 cars and have a tilting mechanism, these trains are also as common as the 220s and are still working today as of posting with Crosscountry and Grand Central, can layer on BCC and WCML: Birmingham-Crewe

Scenarios:

Across the Super-Mare!: drive this 158 on a less frequent services for these units to Severn Beach calling at All Stops

Snowstorm!: on a Stormy winter night, drive this class 800 from Bristol to Exeter but be careful because there will be lots of delay

Cruising the Cross Country: prepare a 221 for service then drive from Exeter to York via Birmingham New Street

Heart Preparation: bring a train into service approaching Bristol for the service to Weymouth by another driver

Somerset Express: Due to delays between Weston-Super Mare and Bristol, trains will have to go via the passing line skipping Weston super-Mare, drive the 165 on a surprise service from Exeter to Weston Super Mare

There is 2 Timetables

221 Timetable

Reduced Timetable

Overall: I’d say this route has may similarities and contrasts with WCML- Preston-Carlisle

North-South
Both 90 Miles
Ones mostly electrified one isn’t
Both have express and commuter/regional traction
Both are on popular mainlines
Both technically go from London (Paddington-Euston)

Lmk what you think!
