Introducing the new Officers of the Alabama State Democratic Executive Committee (SDEC) for the 2026-2030 term.

Bobby Singleton, Caroline Self, and Lillian Thomas are new officers, while Valvier Bright, Joe Reed Sr, Ben Harris, and Bradley Turner were re-elected and are returning for another term. I am still trying to figure out who the next Treasurer will be (currently held by Ed Gentle). I'll update this graphic and post as soon as I find out.

These are all unpaid positions. Traveling expenses may be reimbursed to conduct party business upon preapproval. Please join me in congratulating them! 💙

Several light pole banners are up on Water St in Downtown Mobile saying National Pride Month. On Government, they say Alive with Pride, highlighting the campaign by Rainbow Pride of Mobile, Prism United, and many local businesses and organizations.

Please come to one of the three information sessions and make your voice heard on the future of public transit in Mobile.

Join Indivisible Mobile this Friday, May 1 at 2:30 pm for a free showing of the Robert Reich/Jacob Kornbluth documentary, Inequality for All, at the historic Crescent Theater in downtown Mobile. This will be part of the day-long May Day events going on around the Mobile area. They plan to have a brief discussion afterwards on actions people can take to help remedy the situation.
