My parents have screwed up my education
Okay, so for context, I'm Spaniard but did secondary in the UK because of my parents' work. I moved back to Spain aged 14 after having lived there 7 or so years, and was put into a British International school when I returned back to Spain. Since I can remember, my parents have always sheltered me to a point in which I basically had no critical thinking skills. Things that a 'normal' person would know, I didn't know.
For this reason, added to the fact they they were extremely emotionally abusive (and sometimes physically abusive) + my undiagnosed ADHD, my mental health was down the toilet and my grades were mid. (8 GCSEs with a 6.75 average).I had been so sheltered that I literally did not understand that these grades were important in securing me a good uni, which would then secure me a high income job, which would then secure me a good life. I didn't understand ANY of that.
Fast forward after my GCSEs, and they took me out of school to stay at home all day (even though I had passed everything) because 'I wasn't in the right mental state to continue my eduction'. It's illegal in Spain to take your child out of school at that age, but they did it anyway. This wouldn't have been a problem if I could just be allowed to go to a normal public instituto, but they didn't let me. So I had to waste a whole year at home while my classmates where already in Year 11 or Primero del Bachillerato.
The reason they had actually taken me out was because a teacher asked me about my bloody eye and I told her the truth, which she then told to the authorities. My dad had smacked me hard in the face for telling him that he can't demand respect he doesn't give.
Anyways, they pulled that taking me in and out and in and out of school bullshit again so I'm prepping my A Levels from home as an independent candidate. The problem is that the Spanish university system is set up in a way in which homologation from A Levels to Bachiller always falls short no matter what grade you get. For that reason, if you have a British education, you can literally only attend a private Spanish uni where they accept A Levels in their raw form, no homologation needed.
Problem is that since I've no longer been sucking up to them and putting up with their bs, they've refused to pay for my uni. This is a problem because I don't have a Spanish education so I can't go to a public one and I don't have 100k to spend on a private one. (Student loans are only open to Spaniards with a Spanish education and they only cover tuition, not maintenance + you need proof of income which I don't have.)
Now I know that in North America and the UK not having a degree is not the end of the world, but in Spain it is.. you can't even get a 25k/year job without one. Over half of Spaniards under the age of 24 have a degree. My life is over without one.
I have no money (or documentation) to move to the UK, no rights to a student loan as I am a EU passport holder and have no right to a British nationality.
My parents have given me a month to move out ( I have no money, no job, no car, no nothing), so I had to sign up to volunteer abroad in order to not become homeless.
I have no idea what to do bruh.
