Missing Mail
Hi, I’ve been anticipating an international shipment since February but was delayed multiple times while in transit. I had used PayPal express checkout to purchase the item and didn’t realize my apartment number was never auto filled. Flash forward and the delivery day finally comes around only to be notified the package couldn’t be delivered due to incomplete address. I attempted multiple times to contact my local PO but was unable and I couldn’t go in person because I was at work on a 24. I called the help line who said I needed to go at opening the next morning and ask for the package before it left the facility. The employee that morning confirmed my package was still at the facility and they would send someone to pull it and call me in about an hour to pick up but the call never came. 3 hours later the package arrived in a different state distribution center and was returned to sender. I attempted to intercept but was told I couldn’t because it was an international shipment. Because it was an international shipment no actual return address to the seller was provided so it was sent to the mail recovery center. I contacted the help line again who informed me the package never actually returned to my PO and had already gone to the distribution center the night previous. My missing mail search has been open since the day it arrived at the mail recovery center. I called and they had no update. How long does this process normally take, the seller won’t refund unless they receive the item back. I’m stuck waiting on a 200$ item that will probably be destroyed :(
