What the hell is wrong with usps?
I literally put in the description of this order for delivery instructions to just go behind the building which is very easy, and put the packages there since the front door to the complex is inaccessible without keys. Every other package gets put to the back door, but the two things I’ve been waiting for for a fucking week now, the day it’s finally gonna get delivered this shit happens. I’m genuinely so pissed off.
My phone number is in the instructions too. They could’ve just called me… the hell? I bought a huge ass fridge the other week and they easily delivered it to the back of the building. This was the one day I didn’t have work, I stayed home so I can get this package since it said it was coming and now because there was “NO ACCESS TO THE FRONT DOOR” now all my plans was screwed. Tried calling every postal office available and since it’s Sunday I can’t get through.
What do I even do about this. They’re gonna try delivering it again tomorrow but the same shit is gonna happen. The door cannot BE ACCESSED WITHOUT KEYS. Just put the fkin package to the back!!

Scanned delivered, not received
A very important document was scanned delivered at 7:24pm on Thursday, July 2, and when I went out to check immediately after, it was not in the mailbox. Checked with the neighbors and did a thorough local search on Friday. Asked a delivery carrier on my route on Friday and she said she wasn’t on this route yesterday. She went into the truck and took out a few envelopes for my address but none of those were mine. Went to the Post Office and was asked to go to another facility that manages carriers for my zip code which will only be open tomorrow 8am. Any tips on what I should do tomorrow when I get there? Thank you!

Label adjustment five years later?
This was charged to my account in April, I did not notice because my shop has been closed for a few years. I really have no idea how to handle this. This is for an order that was done all the way in 2021. And yes, I did click on that link, but it won't accept anything I put in the form to find the claim. Not to mention this package was definitely sent appropriately with first class package as I had done many times before. How can they even do this? Just randomly charge me $5 all these years later?
EDIT as per this post this is a glitch that affected many people who had orders in 2021. Sign of relief that it’s just a mistake and will likely be rectified soon.

What is going on in Chicago?
About a month ago, I ordered a package, and for a while it was stuck in Pre Transit. And then when it was finally picked up by usps in Chicago, it arrived at a Distribution center there, and it hasn't moved since! Is Chicago really that bad?

Another Lost Package Request
Second time I had to submit a lost package request to USPS. Was sitting in Richmond VA forever. Finally started moving when I submitted my request.
This item is from eBay too. Already contact with seller and if it doesn't start moving it's way towards me, gonna have to put in a claim.
Funny how stuff can sit there forever and then they suddenly find it when someone starts asking questions. And the post office wonders why they are loosing money. Maybe because no one can trust them to actually deliver the mail.
EDIT: This was suppose to arrive June 26th.

What is going on with USPS?
I ship hundreds of packages a month. This month is something like I've never seen. Almost all packages are taking 2-3 weeks to arrive. I'm in Washington state near Seattle. I shipped a package to someone a few hours away a week and a half ago. It is still not there.

Package Lost Forever?
I had a (rather valuable) package that was supposed to be delivered to me via UPS. However, USPS accidentally picked up the package. I have no idea if it actually made it close to me and is now being held by USPS as dead mail, but how can I get them to check? When I went to my local branch, they said they cannot check without a tracking number. I told then that number doesn’t exist because it USPS picked it up by accident. They don’t want to help past that.

Who ever delivered this package, real funny. 😠🤣
Honestly I have no clue why the postal worker put this box in here maybe it seemed small enough to clear the slot based on the "door" being open.
I had so many stares trying to remove this box from my mailbox it literally looked like I was stealing. I had to go back home to grab my multi tool to break the box down to remove it.

Two packages were delivered to my PO Box on July 4th
I had two Ground Advantage packages delivered to my PO Box today. Is this abnormal even for PO Boxes on July 4th? I was very surprised when I received two messages this morning from Vinted about checking my orders.
This isn't a complaint, but a pop-up in the USPS subreddit popped up to threaten me with possible banning if I submitted any package questions.

Has anyone here delt with this issue ? I understand that its the 4th of July and mail does get delayed thats not an issue. However this is the 1st time I've ever waited this long to see another scan. So my question is anyone else dealing with this recently? Is there anything I can do besides wait till Monday? If you have delt with this what was your experience with this ? Thanks for any information on whats going on. (Added context : I live in Ohio the package is coming from New York)

I’ve just accepted that I’m never getting this
$200 camera, seemingly has been lost to the void (or stolen?)
Seller initiated a missing mail request a week and a half ago, but haven’t gotten any updates from that. I’ve stopped checking the tracking info every day like I was before because I’ve accepted it’s probably done for.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Used the dropoff chute 2 packages gone for over a week
They have never been scanned it's been a week for one and 10 days for another. Not sure if I can file for insurance because it was never scanned it just says label made. Another package that was in the chute delivered fine that was dropped off the same time.
