PASSED!

PASSED!

Passed yesterday on my first attempt after taking 2 tries to pass the SIE! So happy and proud. A few questions on options, a couple on margin, lot of scheduling/regulatory and suitability questions as is to be expected. I was so nervous I was shaking the whole exam, but I think not questioning myself and going in with as much confidence as possible, telling myself I was 100% going to pass, was what got me through it. Don’t give up on yourself! I don’t come from any finance background and learned everything from scratch starting in March. Easily the most dense, content heavy exam I’ve ever had to prepare for. You get out of it what you put into it though! Thank you tremendously, Ken for the great videos and livestreams, you recommended I take the brutal and baseline before going to take it which helped so much! to everyone at my firm who helped me out, thank you this feels so huge! good luck to anyone taking it in the future!

Need dump sheet help-

Taking my exam in 3 days, been getting 74-80s on the pass perfect final exams and feeling nervous but pretty good. I’m super overwhelmed trying to determine all of the ratios and formulas that I need to know, and what they represent. Do you guys have any recs on ones that I 100% need to have down? The SIE felt a lot less formula/ratio heavy and I just keep getting them mixed up. Thanks and good luck to everyone testing!

Looking for a necklace similar to this one

Hi everyone! I bought this locket in Crystal Palace, London at a vintage shop last year. The clerk told me it was Edwardian/Victorian, I believe silver plated. Someone stole it from me when I was showering at the gym and I’m looking to get (ideally the same one, seems impossible though!) something similar. Price was about 40-60 pounds, maybe a bit more. Let me know if any of you have any helpful resources of places to search for one!

Series 7 in 16 days

Hey everyone- passed my SIE a little over a month ago, used Cerifi for my studying and am using the same for my Series 7 prep. I felt really nervous going into the SIE and everyone I work with said the 7 was ridiculously hard, but not impossible (clearly, most of them passed first try). Feeling extremely nervous and overwhelmed going into the 7- i’ve gone through all 19 chapters (on Cerifi) of material and am going back through areas I feel weak on to retake my notes/hand write them, and am taking practice quizzes alongside that. I’m just freaking the hell out over only having 16 days before my exam.

I plan to keep this up, as well as make flash cards and listen to a ton of Series 7 videos. Do any of you have any other vital tips for what I can be doing to prepare? I feel like the first time I went through the material my brain was still glazed over from studying 8-5 for the SIE every day, and I’m really scared I’m not going to retain things the way I need to. Any help would be so appreciated, I just want to pass on the first try and have this over with. Thanks everyone and good luck to everyone else preparing for their exam!
