Gfs silver collection as of now

My girlfriends jewelry all got stolen in a messy divorce and I’ve been slowly finding vintage silver stuff from the place I get all my coin and billion. Her fingers are so tiny so it’s quite difficult sometimes. Just showing them off because she left her box of jewelry at my house last night. Any info if you recognize anything neat would be welcomed I’m quite new to gemstones and jewelry just kinda got into it myself. Thinking about a promise ring size 4. I want to get gold and emerald or ruby possibly sapphire those are her favorites. But she’s a size 4 ring finger and she loves vintage jewelry so I’ve been hunting from people who resell estate finds and things like that. Any recommendations for that hunt would be great!

One of my favorite rings passed down to me

Thought it would be appreciated here. Solid gold with diamonds and rubies. I believe they’re natural rubies becuase my nana did not believe in anything other than “real” stones. But I could be wrong! I think it’s from around the 70s.

So pretty, but can anyone tell me anything about it?

Bracelet was in with my grandma’s jewelry but I don’t know if it was hers or her mother’s. I don’t recall my grandma ever wearing it. It’s marked 925 and the gold looks like it’s wearing off? Just curious how old it might be and what the stones might be. Swavorski Crystal maybe? 🤔

Vintage Sterling Cabbage Rose Pendant with Marcasites

I see so many variations of this cabbage rose design out there - rings, earrings, necklaces, etc. - single or multiple roses - many unmarked other than "sterling" like this one, and others with a variety of midcentury Providence RI maker marks. There must have been a time where these were everywhere, and it seems like many have survived the years now. This pendant I purchased for $15 all-in, I couldn't resist. But there are plenty more out there to be collected. Can anyone narrow down a time frame for the rise in popularity of this design?

Found this Petrified Wood ring this week

And it’s the nicest one I have ever seen. It was on FB marketplace for $15. Marked Sterling inside.

Rings passed to my gf by her mother

These two rings my girlfriend’s mom has had for at least 20 years she gave them to her because she doesn’t wear them. Curious because the green stone is very eye clean i can see no inclusions that would indicate an emerald I think maybe a tsavorite? But I’m nothing but a novice enthusiast. Any suggestions welcome? The other one maybe aquamarine and amethyst?maybe blue topaz?

Let me know if you want better pics or diff angles flash on or off anything and I’d be happy to add them in the comments

Tribal Bone Necklace

Does anyone know anything about this necklace? I think it may be from the 80s. How much is something like this worth? I'm considering making something new with the bone beads but if it has value I may keep it as is.

pretty opal pendant!

I inherited this very pretty opal pendant from my mother recently and wanted to show it off! It originally belonged to either my great or great-great grandmother! It's 25mm long without the bail and 3.5 mm in width with the gold encasing. What chain do you guys think would best fit it? I was thinking a gold rope chain would do the trick!

Identification bague

Hello. Could you identify this family ring? I don't know its age, but it's been in the family for a few years.

There are several hallmarks visible.

I would appreciate any information you can provide.

Thank you.

ID help!

This bracelet has been in my family for at least four generations, and I’m wondering if anyone can identify the maker by these marks

What is this?

I bought this "tie clip" because i liked the design of it, can't find any other one like this. I've been wanting to get it custom made into a pendant or something but I don't want to ruin it and i also dont get how this is a tie clip, or does anyone else have any idea what this would be used for or how because ik how tie clips usually look like lol. Any info or backstory on it would help. Its a long shot but i figured why not try on here. Greenman design or idk anything would help. Its 10k if that makes a difference and i believe every part is made of gold because it does not stick to the magnet, im talking about the internal parts like the springs and yes i already got it tested and did an xray on it.

It finally happened

I picked up this opal from FB marketplace, it’s super pretty but unfortunately it is crazed quite a bit. I noticed a faint hallmark on the back of the setting that looks like a 14K!!!! Ima get it tested tmrw but I rlly hope it’s what I think it is!!! Currently using the brooch as a bolo tie lol.

[Help ID] Vintage jewelry inherited from grandmother

Hello everyone! I inherited quite a few rings and other jewelry pieces from my grandma. Most of them are old rings without stones anymore, but these pieces really stood out to me. Can anyone help identify them or share what they know? Thanks!

Swedish 19th century ring

Hi! I have this ring from my great-grandmother, maybe before her? It was missing a diamond (old European cut) so I put in the amethyst. I'm trying to figure out these symbols on the band. Does anyone have a guess on what they mean/when it would be from? My grandmother gave it to my mom who have it to me. Unfortunately my grandmother has passed away, so getting the story is impossible. She was from just north of Stockholm in Törnby.

Thank you!

Help identifying vintage jeweler’s hallmark

Hello! I recently purchased this vintage 14K gold Idaho star garnet men’s ring. I’m trying to identify the jeweler or manufacturer, but I haven’t been able to match the maker’s mark to any hallmark databases.

The ring is stamped 14K with what appears to be a bird logo next to it. My best guess is that the ring dates to the 1960s or 1970s, but I’d love to know who made it.

Does anyone recognize this hallmark or have any information about the maker?

Thanks in advance for any help!
