Coral Brooch
Does anyone know anything about this brooch, as in maker and possibly value? Yes, tried Google Lens but nothing looked the same. This may have been purchased at Gump’s in San Francisco in the 60-70s. TYIA

This is from my mother’s side is the family, but I’m not sure if it was my mother’s or my grandmother’s. If it was my mother’s, it was probably bought in the 1960’s through 80’s. If my grandmother’s, more likely the 1940’s through 60’s.
I’ve been doing image searches and poking around, and I’m guessing the beads are blue sponge coral and mother of pearl. Does anyone know?
There are no hallmarks of any sort, and the metal closures aren’t precious metals.
I bought this beautiful little Sterling and 14k gold froggy ring to celebrate getting a new job. It was advertised as being antique from the 1930’s (obviously and possible yet). It was sold as big from the arts and crafts era…I’m not sure that story is really true. This cutie appears to be tribal inspired? Any info or ideas would be sore helpful! TIA!
My great grandmother was gifted this Art Deco (?) necklace in the 1950s, I'm told that it is platinum diamond and emerald. There's no markings as far as we can see. Any ideas where/when it might have originated?
I have an antique engagement ring that is from around 1925. I wanted to pair it with a band, and the jeweler recommended this wrap style. Do you think it works well? I am not positive how I feel with mixing the old and new.
I just bought this vintage Krementz bracelet from eBay Goodwill for around $1,000 and now I’m starting to question its authenticity. The listing says “14k Gold - Tested” and mentions it was tested with a Vanta GX XRF analyzer, plus it has eBay Authenticity Guarantee. But after buying it I started looking up similar Krementz bracelets and SO many of them are gold-filled/overlay instead of solid gold.
Now I’m scared I basically paid solid gold price for a gold-filled bracelet lol. Does this piece actually look like solid 14k to you guys? Did Krementz make solid gold versions of these floral cuffs or were they mostly gold-filled? Also there’s a little greenish discoloration in a few spots and I can’t tell if that’s normal vintage soldering/oxidation on 14k jewelry or a sign of plated/base metal underneath.
Would really appreciate opinions on whether its solid 14k or gold filled because I already bought it and I’m stressing.. thank you <3
Did all those upload? Cant find any other with a flat side and facets on the other. Cant find a mark.
I polished it a bit and removed some black tarnish - which looks like silver oxidation. But some spots look worn - maybe someone seen similar pendants? Would love to know age and value.
Her birthday is approaching and i want to buy the same one she lost. Most likely It was a gold ring brought back from USSR in the 80s by out grandfather. Can someone help name it or find more photos?
This cameo pendant is from my grandmother’s collection. I don’t know anything else about it, so I would love any information anyone can provide, especially estimated age, style, era. I don’t think I would sell it, but I’m always curious about value.
It’s marked 1/20 10k gold fill. There is also a hallmark that says “PS CO.”
My sister can give me this stunning 14ct white gold necklace with built in center pendant with little diamonds in white gold casing and 2 decent size south sea pearls (grey and white) or she can give me $2000 usd instead. Im not in need of cash and my family said this necklace is quite precious and expensive. Which one would I choose?
It's adjustable and, I'm assuming, made of pinchbeck.
Please pardon my guitar callus.
Hey so I picked up this pretty cameo at a second hand place for like £5 thinking it was cute costume jewellery but I saw the .08/80. stamp on the metal and now I'm not sure if it is just costume jewellery? Any advice is helpful! Also, its transparent if I hold it up to daylight but no cracks.
Victorian and Art Deco are my favorite eras for jewelry. This is a small part of my necklace collection. USA, Missouri.
Hi! So I own a small family jewelry store and recently we’ve been getting an influx in of Estate Silver and Gold. We Have been experimenting with different platforms to see what works best for us but everyone seems to have different scary stories on Reddit. What’s your favorite platform to sell on? Here’s my thoughts and feedback so far
1)Selling off our website seemed safest for us but means relying totally off social media to sell
whatnot - seems to be very seller friendly/protective of seller BUT a lot of people seem to be just hoping you don’t know what you have! And willing to sell it below melt/ or resellers themselves- which is not really what we’re looking for
EBay - so far not bad BUT I’m hearing over and over again on Reddit that a lot of jewelers don’t bother with jewelry over $500 because of scamming issues
FB Marketplace with in store pick up - ppl seem willing to travel if the piece is unique enough (they also like we are a brick and mortar with Gemologist on staff) - we’ve managed to sell a couple of good pieces that way but definitely far and few in between
Just got this in a bulk jewelry buy. No markings, but it did acid test 14k. I have never seen a cameo like this, its not flat. Also the style isn't something I've come across, but I am definitely not an expert. It has a bail that you can open and close as well as a pin to wear it as a brooch. Any info is appreciated!
A few weeks ago I posted my small vintage and antique ring collection, and today I’m posting the entire thing… which is still quite small but steadily growing. The small garnet cluster is Swedish 830 silver and the simple silver band is sterling from Mexico, and is sentimental. Otherwise the only truly modern pieces are the diamond band up top (my wedding and engagement rings turned into one), and the Mexican silver band. Everything else is vintage or antique gold ranging from 10K-20-ishK. And as you can see, diamonds are cool but colored gems are what I love.
