There was an email in my Spam folder, that claims to be from a cyber criminal group. Basically threatening to release private photos and information about me to everyone unless I do as they ask.
How do I know if this is a scam or a serious threat?
My 23 year-old daughter had a child when she was 18. A little girl named Melody who now lives in New York with her dad. Melody was born in Florida, but eventually, My Daughter, the baby‘s father and Melody moved to New York to live with family that lived in Queens My Daughter and the baby Dad had been trading back-and-forth for custody. A lecture of one of my daughters called the baby‘s dad and told him a bunch of things that supposedly My Daughter was doing so the baby‘s dad flew to Florida pick Melody up and we haven’t seen her in probably a year My Daughter‘s been working on herself and her sobriety. We’re not sure what the dad is up to but at this point, he doesn’t even want My Daughter to speak to Melody. Can he do that or how can we get rights to see her?
