How to arrange my pesalboard?

How to arrange my pesalboard?

So i received the mosky king rat and boss ls2 thourgh the mail today and i think my pedalboard is about complete for now. Now, how to arrange it properly?

i'm thinking about making 2 returnchannels with the ls2, one with the fuzzwah and the Rat, and one with the 3 modelling effects. i want to be able to mix the rat with a clean signal to maintain low end. so maybe like this?

Tuner > Compressor> Whammy > Boss LS2 > loop 1: fuzzwah > King Rat > Bos LS2 > loop 2: Chorus>Flanger>Delay > Boss LS2 output > Joyo Monomyth Preamp

Would this work?

btw: i'm considering adding a seperate Di-out box after the compressor or maybe whammy, ór place the preamp after the compressor, so i would be able to send a clean and distorted signal to FOH if the venue allows it.

Is it neccessary to own your own DI?

And does it have to be an expensive radial bass di or does a cheap DI from thomann suffice?

I use an antique bass tube head without DI-Out. I do have a joyo monomyth preamp with di-out, but i prefer it somewhere in the start of my signal chain, right after the tuner and compressor. So should i trust the venue for having a di for bass?

I use to have an amp with di out back in the day, but havent played for several years. Just started again and got our second gig coming up.

Flamma fc19 black distortion for bass? or better options Rat clone?

Does anyone have experience with the Flamma black distortion on bass? I'm looking for a simple and affordable distortion. I'm leaning towards a rat sound. On Thoman i see the Joyo splinter and a Flamma jc19 black distortion. My biggest inspirations are metallica and Tool, i know they both use forms of Procorat, the regular one for metallica and Tool/Justin Chancellor uses a Turborat.

i read the Splinter is a fat Rat clone. I'm sure it delivers a solid sound and it holds up te low end well. The Flamma looks more usefull with a classic and aturbo option, im just not sure it holds up the low end very well

Sound splitting live

Im a not very experienced live player. In repetitions i got 2 amps and i split my sound from the Joyo monomyth through the 'trhu' output to 1 amp and the regular output to thenother amp. This way 1 get 1 distorted channel and 1 clean channel, i use the distortion of the monomyth.

How should i go about this live? So far i only play small gigs with probably not very experienced soundengineers. Prefarably i would like to get my cab miced and a clean signal straight to foh. Should i place my monomyth earlier in the signal chain, use the di out and buy another distortion pedal (Rat?) To go ay the end of the chain? Or maybe just a simple di-out box? And where does that go? After the compressor (grey thing)? That way i have 2 di-out options, so i dont have to rely on the soundengineer bringing a bass mic? I was in doubt between the joyo tidal wave and the monomyth, maybe i should have gotten both?
